    Tesoro Brooklyn is a curated seasonal consignment project focused on thoughtfully recirculating contemporary and designer fashion within Brooklyn communities. Tesoro specializes in elevated everyday brands, designer pieces, and quality wardrobe staples with an emphasis on thoughtful styling, strategic pricing, and sustainable fashion practices.

    Tesoro currently accepts seasonal clothing and bags only. Items must be in excellent pre-owned condition. Shoes and fast fashion brands are not accepted at this time.

    Sales are facilitated through Poshmark, where Tesoro has an established presence and years of resale experience. Melissa has been an active seller on the platform since 2018, with over 600 listings, a 1-day average shipping time, thousands of followers, and a strong history of positive buyer reviews. Tesoro uses this existing platform expertise and audience to thoughtfully market, style, price, and sell consignor items.

    Consignment Process

    Step 1: Submit an Intake Form

    Prospective consignors complete a short intake form with:

    • Brand information
    • Item descriptions
    • Photos
    • Estimated quantity of items
    • Preferred consignment window

    Tesoro Brooklyn reviews all submissions before accepting inventory.

    Step 2: Item Review & Pickup

    Accepted consignors coordinate a local pickup or drop-off. Tesoro Brooklyn accepts:

    • A minimum of 10 items
    • A maximum of 20 items
    • Seasonal clothing and bags only

    Tesoro Brooklyn reserves the right to decline items based on:

    • Condition
    • Brand
    • Seasonality
    • Projected resale value

    Step 3: Styling, Pricing & Listing

    Tesoro Brooklyn handles:

    • Market research
    • Pricing strategy
    • Photography
    • Styling and merchandising
    • Listing creation
    • Offer management

    Pricing and markdown strategy are managed by Tesoro based on current resale market conditions.

    Step 4: Sales & Fulfillment

    Items are sold primarily through Poshmark. Tesoro Brooklyn manages:

    • Buyer communication
    • Shipping
    • Order fulfillment

    Consignor payouts are issued electronically via Venmo or Zelle.

    30-Day Consignment Window

    • Minimum of 10 items
    • Maximum of 20 items
    • Faster pricing and sell-through strategy
    • Sellers are paid between days 30–45
    • Tesoro receives 25% of sales after platform fees

    60-Day Consignment Window

    • Minimum of 10 items
    • Maximum of 20 items
    • Longer-term pricing strategy for higher-value sales
    • Sellers are paid between days 60–75
    • Tesoro receives 30% of sales after platform fees
